Lighting Leader
Central Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center

As a major cultural heritage preservation project dedicated to the centennial of the Communist Party of China, the Central Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center strives to protect some of the greatest artefacts of the People's Party of China, serving as an important venue for educating the public on Party history. Consequently, it imposed strict requirements on lighting design to create a sense of historical solemnity while also ensuring innovation in fixture design.

To better showcase the century-long heritage of the Party through “Chinese artistry”, each light we have made has been made with a very specific purpose and meaning in mind. The two grand lamps in this project were designed by Tang Hui, Head of the Mural Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. By incorporating traditional Chinese painting into the design, the lamps reflect the profound and seamless integration of Chinese art and culture.
