In 2018, HUAYI became the lighting supplier and service provider for the Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center, creating extraordinary lighting to help transform it into the spotlight of the 2nd National Youth Games.

The Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center in Taiyuan was originally built in 1998. To meet the requirements for the venue of the 2nd National Youth Games, the sports center underwent a large-scale renovation and expansion.

After the renovation, the Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center features a futuristic and grand appearance, rich in both technological and modern elements. At night, the lighting integrates seamlessly with the architecture, with clean and sharp lighting lines perfectly outlining the center's silhouette. Meanwhile, at the main entrance, the lighting changes colors in response to the moment, infusing the sports center with a vibrant and dynamic energy.

Customized Lighting Design

Due to the rigid, complex structure of the center, which spans a total of 21,216 m² and a height of 23.95 m, the lighting needed to be customized in order to fit in the space available. 

A Welcome Hard to Forget

Based on the architectural drawings, the HUAYI team conducted actual measurements of the structure of the curtain wall, taking special note of each turning and connection point, and repeatedly discussed and formulated the parameters of the various lamps so that the lighting and structure of the building could blend seamlessly together.
